Over the past three months, ACEF funding has enabled me to settle into Oxford study routine with ease, and make the most of the extraordinary academic environment here. With this support, I joined the Nuffield Department of Medicine, attended several weekly seminars, and engaged with more than forty research groups, all of which broadened my scientific horizons and strengthened my training. My studies allowed me to participate in handson laboratory and computational workshops, where I learned advanced microscopy techniques, practised AIdriven clinical data analysis, and contributed to an investigation of treatmentresistant infections.

This support has been crucial as I secured three rotation projects at the Ludwig Institute of Cancer Research, each aligning with my ambitions in cancer genomics and early cancer detection. ACEF has also made it possible for me to present my master’s work internationally and continue and develop my publishing plans. This opportunity is shaping my development as a scientist and expanding my future research possibilities.
